Original Picture
Silk Screened T-Shirt
I went sailing this summer in europe, and as we were sailing I took a picture of a piece on the boat. It was such a peaceful sail and I just enjoyed every moment of it.I used this picture to show what I did all summer and how proud I am of this picure I took. Since we were sailing I decided to put the word "SAIL" on the shirt. I love the font and the way the boat part looks.
I started by getting a frame and stapling the silk screen tight onto it. after that I turned off the lights and put emultion on the screen. I left it to dry for about 3 days. After that I put my picture onto an acetate sheet and exposed the picture to light onto the silk screen. after that I washed it with water for about 10-15 minutes and it came out pretty nicely. I left it to dry for a day. I took the silk screen out and applied blue fabric ink to the top part of the image, and black fabric ink to the word "SAIL". It then came out like that and I am proud of it since it is my first time ever doing silk screening.
